I have Bruxism. I have had this condition all my life. I have been wearing a night guard for years. I started coming to see Dr. Gilmore when I first came to town in 2015. I have areas on both sides of my mouth where the gum has recessed away from the tooth (this is a symptom of Bruxism). Dr. Gilmore suggested a different type of night guard, one that wouldn't let me fully close my mouth. This night gaurd fits on my lower teeth and has a bridge that is built up and my two front teeth rest on it. I have gone into his office twice a year for a cleaning and evaluation. My two front teeth recently crumbled exactly where they rest on the bite block. I decided that I was going to go to another dentist to see if there was something else I could do because biting down on the night gaurd Dr. Gilmore made me chipped my teeth. Dr. Gilmore's office kept calling me to schedule my cleaning that was due and I told them why I wasn't making an appointment. They asked me to come back for an evaluation. That Dr. Gilmore would like the opportunity to discuss my options with me. When I got there and Dr. Gilmore came to examine my teeth he acted like he had never seen them before. He launched into how he was very well studied, attending prestigious conferences in Scottsdale, was at the top of his game and that there was no way my chipped teeth were his fault. He spoke aggressively, did not want to listen to anything I had to say, he kept repeating himself and offered to gind my front teeth down so they were even in front. I asked him if that was my only option and he shrugged said something along the lines that he was confident all of his peers would agree with his treatment plan and fired me as a patient.I myself work in healthcare and I know that if you act the way that Dr. Gilmore acted you are at fault and are trying to bury the situation by being authoritarian and aggressive. There are so many dentists in Central Oregon, do yourself a favor and find one that has humility and is kind

Gilmore Dental provided excellent service with comprehensive and detailed explanations as to the procedures necessary and how they would be conducted. I felt like I was in the loop the entire time. Great job Gilmore Dental and I will be back when my dental needs arise.

Dr. Gilmore went above and beyond when it came to providing me with exceptional detailed care. He even went as far as to check and make sure no medications would interfere with my dental procedures. He is such a professional.

Had a great experience with the dentist. But, his staff was incredibly rude. When I was called about a reminder for a visit, the woman "Julie" was incredibly rude, when all I needed was to reschedule my appointment for later on the same day. Could not believe the behavior of someone they trust to do all the calls about appointments. Then, Julie refused to give me a direct line to the office manager and informed me that all messages were through her. Which made it awkward, as she was the one I had an issue with and not the dentist.



To sum it up...



Good Dentist. Horrible customer care and service.

Ever since I made the change to Dr Gilmore I have not been nervous about visiting the Dentist, not only is he a very personable guy but he is surrounded by a team of that is second to none, from the front desk on up they make you feel comfortable, they have a new machine that makes crowns at the office, I was fitted for one this morning and it is of the highest quality, so one might say this must be expensive, the prices are the best I have found period, I know Dr Gilmore cannot treat every one in central Oregon, but if you need dental service, and you want your moneys worth, go see them!
