My Amana furnace quit after 17 yrs .It was in a cramped space and it looked to be a real problem to remove it and replace it .The Furnace Co. removed it in one day and replaced the same day! The new Bryant has worked fine and the Furnace Co. representative ( whose name I don't remember) advised me that it would only require periodic cleaning of the air filter and none of the annuao "check-ups " that the Amana required. I give them top marks for courteous expeditious and cost-effective service. I called back today 11/3/09 to confirm that I did not need an annual check-up and received helpful advice and reassurance that no routine professionanl inspections were required. I would recommend them to anyone!
