We have stayed here two times in the past year, Mar. 2014 and May 2014. We will return soon and use Super 8. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. Our rooms have always been clean with new appliances. The pool and hot tub are very nice. Further, we feel safe because they own this business and take an interest in knowing who is coming in and out. It's not at the luxurious end of motels but neither is the price. For our needs and for the price it is a 5 star!

I wish I could leave negative stars!!

Where to start:
They pre-authorized our bank charge card the night before our stay. Which caused our checking acct to be overdrawn. They did not advise us this would be done when we booked the hotel.

Pet-friendly: Not!! You must sign a waiver that every time you leave the room, you take your pet. They charge $150/per day cleaning fee if they find you left your pet in the room alone. We were unable to have breakfast together, use the pool, hot tub, and Chula Vista wristbands because of this.

Our bathtub had mold under the
unglued bath mat. The back of the toilet was dirty.

We will NOT be back and a formal complaint was filed with the Super 8 company.

The place down the road is pet-friendly & you can leave them unattended in the room. That is where we will book in the future.
