Provided by YP.comThis was a great (and much needed) getaway for my girlfriend and I. We both took a day off in the week and decided to stay at Loon Lake Lodge. We stayed in the motel (her idea), rather than camping but we spent the days fishing and kayak-ing. Everything was pleasant and the room was very nice. My favorite part was definitely renting the wave runners. Her favorite part was probably the restaurant. Next time (hopefully soon!), we're definitely going to visit the nearby Oregon Dunes and check out all the fun stuff to do there. Other than that, this is a great getaway and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the city.

Provided by YP.comMy family and I wanted to go somewhere for a week that was not expensive and all of us could have something to do that was fun. One of our RV friends told us about Loon Lake Lodge & RV Resort. They had complete RV hook-ups that were very affordable. We did not know what to expect when we pulled in, but the drive through was easy and the hook ups went as smooth as silk. We had a supreme view of the Lake and it was very refreshing for all of us to sit outside in the mornings and enjoy our coffee and the beautiful view.
A few of the RV-ers had children close to the age of ours, so they had an additional good time meeting kids from all over the West Coast. For them, there was not a dull moment! They were always on the lake either paddle boating, pontoon boating or riding on wave runners. My husband and several other men from the campsite went fishing (but never caught anything really big!). I was very content just to rest in a lounge chair overlooking the beautiful lake and reading a best seller.
Several evenings we had dinner at the resort restaurant and the weather was nice enough for us to sit outside on the deck. Maybe it was all the fresh air, but the food was great and we all ate with big appetites.
This is definitely the type of RV Park that we would return to. For those without RV’s, they have a motel and private cabins. I would imagine they would be great for a first – or second – honeymoon. (Maybe my husband will read this and get the hint.)

Provided by YP.comThere's nothing better than rest and relaxation at Loon Lake and what makes it even better is enjoying nature to its fullest by camping! I did a little research on the web and found that Loon Lake Lodge & RV Resort was a nice place to stay and has campgrounds. It was just me and my dog Whipper and he can be kind of a handful so I wanted a pet friendly lodge and Loon Lake Lodge had a good pet policy so that was partly why I decided to stay there instead of other properties. Also, I went with pitching up my tent at the lower marina area which is definitely a great area by the water with views of the lake. Simply, the location was terrific and I could not have hoped for more for my little camping excursion. The showers and facilities were pretty clean so no complaints there. The general store was good because I absentmindedly forgot my toothbrush and other things at home (doh). I gave water sporting a go on Loon lake and tried my hand at water skiing which was really fun for my first time. I rented the equipment with no problems and I would probably rent some of the other cool stuff they have the next time I stay at this lodge. No regrets on this fun and awesome trip for me and Whipper!

Provided by YP.comGorgeous lake! I have lived in Oregon for over 10 years and did not know there was such a beautiful lake just an hour away from us! This is a great place to take the family in the summer to swim and relax! They have specials listed on their website so I often find a great lodging deal for Loon Lake!

Provided by YP.comAfter hunting for off beat locations for our family reunion, we finally narrowed down upon the Loon Lake Lodge & Rv Resort in Reedsport. It was close by and it seemed like the perfect place to be in. We reserved the waterfront cottage that has a sweeping patio overlooking the lake. The cottage is a lot more spacious than it seems on the website. We also added the family meeting room to our package. The property is huge. There is so much to explore. We made the most of our 3 days that we stayed there and yet, it feels that we didn’t get to do all that we wanted to. It began with the boat rentals in the marina. The younger lot went for the jet skiis and we opted for a paddle boat. We also went kayaking but were exhausted quickly. The recreational area is fun. The swimming area is smaller than we expected it to be. So we chose to just float around and observe. They have tame deer that the kids can feed. We also spotted a bald eagle, loons and a herd of elk closeby. Evenings were spent in the family meeting room and by the fireplace. The family had a great time and we would like to thank the staff for their co-operation and hospitality.
