After attending The School of Visual Arts Robert Merola went to work in several big brand art departments including: J.Crew, Macy's and Coach. He worked as an art director at Snyder Design, NY working on entertainment graphics and advertisements. At Meier Brand he art directed projects for many national consumer brands like: DeBeers, Orrefors, Kosta Boda, Chopard, Bulova. While at Look Advertising he was creative director on several accounts notably Levitz furniture, Godiva, and American Express. For the past seven years Robert Merola has been creative director at the design firm he founded. Merola Design has since built the identities and websites and helped strengthened the brands of dozens of NY companies. Meet the Business Owner Robert M. Business Owner For more than two decades, Robert Merola has built identities and websites that have strengthened the brands of dozens of NY businesses of all sizes. Known for thoughtful, clean identities and websites, he has created corporate identities for dozens of nationally recognized brands and start ups. Merola has collaborated with some New York's best creative and business professionals and is passionately attached to the diverse and rich creative environment that only a New York city studio provides. Merola is a member of BNI and continues his professional development by attending courses, seminars, conferences and networking opportunities. After attending The School of Visual Arts, Merola worked at J.Crew designing catalog editorial and collateral materials. At William Snyder Design, NY where he created entertainment graphics and corporate identity standards for A&E Television, and The History Channel. Merola worked as Art Director than Creative Director at a Meier Brand.
