Warning: Dr Engle, the primary Doctor, misdiagnosed & misprescribed my precious cat for over a year. Initially treated correctly with antibiotic, the cat started displaying bad health & not knowing being a veterinarian myself, said the cat had allergies & prescribed a genetic form of Claratin for cats. The cat was still sick for over a year before he died. He was 18, but would have lived more comfortably if he was given antibiotics again. My other cat showed similar symptoms, the Dr again said he has hay fever & prescribed Claratin again. The cat didn't respond. I called the Office to tell his staff the cat had not improved. He left a voice mail back that the cat had a TUMOR in his mouth!!! This is WITHOUT Xrays or a blood test! After a sleepless night, I went to another veterinarian for a 2nd opinion, & they saw NO tumor or any such problem. I was given an antibiotic spray to administer & the cat was BETTER in a WEEK!! He did call me back, to his credit, but his incompetence in treating my dear cats was overwhelming & I had to leave this feedback...
