Provided by YP.comWe have been taking our little one there for 3 years and they are terrific! Pleased with how nothing is pushed on you, suggestions are made if desired as optional only for issues such as allergies. Our choice as to whether we wish to use them. Docs and techs are caring, staff is lovely.

Provided by YP.comI would not recommend this vet for exotics visits, including bunnies. I unfortunately took my bunny there to get neutered not too long ago and he was returned to me paralyzed in his hind legs. Medical mistakes happen, however he had surgery on a Thursday and I brought him home paralyzed and unable to pee on his own and I did not hear from the vet again until late Monday afternoon. No one called to check on his well being or recovery. It was extremely disheartening and neglectful.

Provided by YP.comI was on vacation when my 10 year old cockapoo developed an eye infection and infected swollen anal glands. I was very pleased that I was able to get an appointment so quickly. The dr and staff were very kind and efficient. As expected the problems stemmed from allergies that my dog has had throughout his life. The dr. suggested a fairly new drug to address his allergies, Apoquel. He has been on this for a month and so far it seems to be working but is actually too soon to tell. I have just returned from my vet here in Bucks County, PA. The drug cost at Rehoboth Animal Hospital was $92 while for the same drug my vet charged $43!!!!!! So, beware of the costs at this animal hospital.

Provided by YP.comI took My 10 1/2 yr old Choc Lab Rosie In on 7/17/15 thinking that it was the last day I would see her on this planet because she was showing the very same signs that took one of her aunts from me 11 yrs ago . In one days time She did not want to use her back legs .I told them when I got there that I might need help getting her in the front door. I was told to call when I get in the parking lot. I called and 30 seconds latter they were out there with 3 people and a stretcher . They had a room waiting for Rosie . Doc Sarah did a thorough check up on her and determined that Rosie's issues were arthritis and not cancer. So far so good . With the meds Sarah script for Rosie, she is doing much better. I've had Rosie going there for the last 2 years. In the past I've had dogs to some very good vets in Pa including the U of Pa . The people in this place are just as thorough as any I've been to . They could not have been more kind . Their cost are cheaper than what I'm used to from Pa... A+ in my book from top to bottom. And yes ,if My best friends last day was yesterday , I still would feel the same way. They care !!!

Provided by YP.comI had a wonderful experience today. Brought my dogs on vacation and realized on Sunday evening that my 14 year old golden retriever had an eye infection. I called when they opened Monday morning and was told to come at 10:15. Very nice facility, very friendly staff, on time. The intern was kind and thorough. Our vet was as well and explained all she was doing. And because of my dog's mobility issues they took care of check out while we were still in the room. Cost was in line with our charges with our home. Vet. Couldn't ask for more.

Provided by YP.comI simply love the Dr's and the assistance and the girls at the front desk. My Lab Paver has been a frequent patient, as he has allergies and a skin condition, and a separation anxiety issue as well. ;) After his mom died, he ran over to a neighbor house to see what scraps they he smelled in their front yard and was hit by a car. I called and they took him in at closing time for a several hour surgery. There are so many variables that can affect one's experience. For me, although some are just business, the overall care and understanding I have received from the staff is OUTSTANDING.

Provided by YP.comA follow up comment to a visit quite awhile back. We took our Lab here to be put to sleep. Rates were a bit higher than some. Cold process, put in a back room with cleaning supplies, utility room. Staff nice but questionable in rate quotes. After the process was done. No follow up card or paw print in plaster. 3rd dog to have put to sleep. Other two places one in Florida, one in Maryland. All did follow with sympathy card and a copy of paw print, not requested by us. Just a wonderful follow up jester from these two vets. Question the Love of pets or the understanding towards pet owners emotions at this location. Its a get' er done kind of atmosphere, wallet in tow. Lacking emotions, period. Good Luck.

Provided by YPmobileTook my dog for a rabies vaccine and they required to have "an office call" exam althought we just saw them three months ago for the annual check up and battery of tests. The vet said I will pay for the exam at a reduce rate; hovever, the bill was shown the full amount. Be aware what they try to sell you and time to shop for a new vet.

Provided by YPmobileThere is no way anyone called these tourists a golden goose. Dr. Dabkowski opened his practice to not only offer excellent care but to get away from the overpriced norm in the Rehoboth/Lewes area. And no I'm not an employee. I'm just someone who know that RAH treats their clients fairly and professionally and loves amimals. They are one of the only vets in the area that have board certified vet techs instead of people off the street.

Provided by YP.comThey try to take advantage of you from the first moment you enter their office. When they showed us an "estimate" which was a bunch of unnecessary tests put on the bill to jack up the price, we could hear one of their employees in the next room describing us as a "golden goose." Just because we were tourists, doesn't make us saps. They pushed us to have surgery performed on our dog that was not only invasive and painful, but, as it turned out, wholly unneeded.
You'll recognize the routine right away; they hired an older hardened nurse to play the bad guy, while the main vet, who looks like a model, is there to soften you up, and they come at you one at a time. And their prices are exorbitantly high based on normal rates. I did some checking while they left us alone to discuss what we wanted to do, and the two vets my dog had been to before, and the going rates for the procedures the Rehoboth Beach vet was offering were at least 25-40% higher than those at Animal Hospitals/Vets in large cities, let alone in a small part of Delaware.
