I purchased a groupon for this company and didn't realize that for the cost ($45) of the groupon, they would clean either the inside OR the outside of the windows - their ad read "up to 20 interior or exterior windows on a 1-story home" It never occurred to me that a window cleaning company would not clean both sides of the windows..... When I called to schedule an appointment (they never called me back the first phone call to them) I was told that it would be and additional $85 to clean both the inside and outside and the screens.



When the cleaning crew came to my home- almost 20 minutes late, one of the people reeked of cigarettes, the other reeked of alcohol. I asked if there might be some adjustment to the additional pricing since I only had 12 windows and was told that a call would be made to the business owner. I asked that they begin work on the exterior in the meantime. After less than 45 minutes, the "alcohol" person came into my home - without knocking/ringing the bell (I have a dog that is not very friendly) and asked to have a water bottle filled. Once I filled it, he headed back to the front door and took a wrong turn and almost fell over in my living room. At that point, the front bell rang and the "cigarette" person was asking for information on my groupon.



No mention was made of any contact with the business owner, but at that point, I was very concerned with the "alcohol" falling and having some issue with an injury and all I wanted to do was to get them off of my property.



I would steer clear of this company - VERY DISAPPOINTING AND WHAT A RIP OFF!!

I've used several other cleaning companies in the Reno/Sparks area and have never had such a satisfactory experience. I am hosting a Mother's Day Brunch this weekend and called the last company I used to see if I could make an appointment. The one-man residential "crew" didn't have anything available for several weeks. I pulled out my phone book and luckily called Alpine Window Cleaning first. The owner answered the phone, provided me a quote and was able to squeeze me into an already tight schedule so that my windows could be cleaned for the brunch. Alpine Window Cleaning sent a three-man crew to my home; the gentlemen were polite, professional, and friendly. They were respectful of my home and took great care to protect my furnishings while cleaning, and, place them back where they were upon completion of the job. They didn't just clean my windows inside and out, they also cleaned the window tracks, and scraped any build-up and residue from the outside of the windows. My home looks beautiful; you don't realize the difference clean windows make. I would highly recommend Alpine Window Cleaning if you are looking to improve the appearance and function of your windows. A. Foxx, Reno, Nevada.
