In the first 7 months from buying the car, a newly installed timing belt that Boxer Garage installed right before selling the car to me was misaligned in their install and almost caused the whole engine to be affected. Oil was everywhere, the timing belt was shredded all over, and the car was smoking. An honest and well-respected mechanic I towed it to said that whoever (BOXER GARAGE) installed the belt tensioner for the timing belt did not install the belt properly and hence why all the major problems I had. I ended paying over $1500 on my car in the first 7 months. The mechanic I took it to take time and even went out of their way to suggest talking to Boxer Garage sharing their findings on the car and sharing the pictures of the damage. Boxer Garage never even bothered talking to the mechanic. Boxer Garage just blamed me for not driving the car properly.

2) misalignment has caused the belt to wear off 1/4 " throwing belt material all over the encased area, which also damaged my engine.
3)The belt material got behind the camshaft pulley and damaged the seal caused it to leak oil.
Anyhow, Boxer Garage just blamed me for driving the car incorrectly, even though I provided them pictures the mechanic took of my car. Boxer Garage wanted me to pay for all the parts to fix it. The timing belt should last at least 60,000 miles after being installed. However, because of the poor installation, the car had issues and was wearing down from the time I bought the car and left their garage, but I didn't find out until later. I decided to just report them so this doesn't happen to anyone else. The only reason why I give a 2 is because the only thing they wouldn't charge is labor, although the issue was their fault to begin with. They were also late when we scheduled appointments on more than one occasion. I would definitely not suggest them. Another of my friends also had issues with a car that was sold to them. This is probably my first bad review that I have ever done, unfortunately.
