Run Away !



Told me I needed crowns replaced that were only 3 years old; went to another dentist, not ONE of them needed replacement. Just as I suspected.



They were rude. They charged me 15 bucks for copies of my x-rays that were NOT usable. They didn't want to work with my obvious dental anxiety issues - charging you another 30 bucks a visit just for anxiety meds is exploitation, pure and simple.



The place is like a barn inside, and has those gross stick up air fresheners everywhere. Procedures are expensive.



I would never recommend them to anyone. I don't see how anyone would give them an excellent rating, their office is such an obvious scam.

I wish I could give less than 1 star! DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE!! I went in for a cleaning and left with an estimate for over $3000 worth of dental work that they said I needed. I have insurance, so this was going to be my co-pay. I went to Grant-Moana Dental (5 stars) to get a second opinion. Desert Valley wanted to do 3 root canals. Turns out I only need one root canal and it's on a tooth that's on the left side of my mouth & Desert Valley said I needed one on the right side. The dentist at Desert Valley had the x-rays backwards!!! OMG!! Plus Desert Valley wanted to put caps on my 2 front teeth when all I really need is a filling for a chip on one front tooth. Again, DO NOT GO TO DESERT VALLEY DENTAL unless you want root canals on the wrong teeth, teeth that don't need root canals, and extra work that is not necessary!!!

They are very rude! They lied about the exam we were getting, changed us wayyyy to much money! It was really dirty in the back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE!!! BAD SERVICE!

I am terrified of dentists and dental offices, but when I walked into this one, I was put at ease. The receptionist, Heather, is an amazingly warm and bubbly young woman who truly cares about the patients. The hygienists are professional and make sure that you're comfortable. The dentist herself is a very caring, compassionate, and honest woman. Knowing that I am terrified of dentists, she made sure that I knew that I could take a break if I needed it. She pulled two of my teeth in rapid succession, and unlike many dentists, she made sure that I was fully numb before proceeding with the procedure. I highly recommend this office to anyone, especially those with children or their own fears of dentists.
