My ex wife passed away when my youngest daughter was 10 years old. My daughter would not sleep in her own bed and even though she slept with me she would wake up several times a night crying because she kept having bad dreams, most often was that I died and no one was there to take care of her. After 6 months of "traditional" therapy and 3 different people wanting to put her on depression medication I found Rachel, more like some higher power brought us together. After my daughters second visit, and I say visit because Rachel treated her like family not a patient, my daughter went to sleep that night in her own bed. Let me clear this up, my daughter would tell me about 9 pm that it was time to go to bed because she wouldn't go anywhere without me. The night of her second visit with Rachel it was about 930 pm when I noticed she hadn't come get me yet, I went look for her and found her sleeping in her own bed. I should also mention the first visit they got to know each other, the second visit was hypnotherapy. Unlike people who wanted to medicate my child, Rachel took the time to know my daughter and the fact that she was in mourning not depressed. With Rachel's guidance my daughter has become a happy 13 year old, yes she still has her days she misses her mom but because of Rachel she is able to understand how to use her mind and soul to see the happy things she does have in her life. I don't know where my daughter would be without Rachel and I am forever grateful for the positive changes she has made in our lives.
