You dont have to belive me, but this waiter will judge you right when you walk in, if your not caucasian, they will see you as not going to tip big...went there for the all you can eat dinner sushi..and this waiter was so stupid and some of them dont even speak english or dont even understand you, all they say is yes, like they really understand, i had to flag the waiter twice to get my water and other items, she walk passed us like we didnt exist.. always have to flag her down to get service..i suggest if you want the best sushi make sure your chef isnt mexican....there sloppy and they make it nasty...i will never come back to this dicriminate sushi place BEWARE. the waiter will give you bad service if your not white....

We had a great dinner at IJJI Sushi 2 tonight! The owner served us and was so helpful and funny! What a wonderful personality he has, very pleasing. He gave my Dad a complimentary drink and gave us a complimentary dessert. He found out it was a celebration of my birthday and our Son's birthday too and gave each of us a cupcake with a candle in them and dimmed the lights while he and other servers sang "Happy Birthday" to us. It was our first time there but we will definitely be back! The service was top notch as well as the food. Atmosphere is very nice too. The owner knows how to treat customers and earn repeat customers. He also gave my Son and I each a $25 coupon for our next visit. Excited to have such a great place to go for sushi and steaks!! Try it you won't be sorry, Prices are good too.

I'm not a fan of uncooked fish, so I was skeptical to try Ijji 2 (I've only eaten at one sushi place in Reno and it was satisfying, until I was introduced to Ijji2!!). Luckily my boyfriend used to frequent Ijji2, and although he hadn't been in to get AYCE in a while, they still remembered him and his preferences. The staff is always funny and helpful, the place is a bit loud at times but when you are happy, you tend to get loud.



The cooked rolls are delicious; I always leave too-full of delicious rolls. My boyfriend and I both have special rolls made for us that we helped name and the chefs always start the rolls as soon as we walk in. It's nice to sit at the bar and have a couple chefs making your rolls, versus having to wait for just one to make your food.



I was surprised to find that one of the people seating us and serving our drinks is the owner of Ijji 2. He is very considerate and always comes over to personally say hello to us when we come in. I've never seen that before at a restaurant, especially one as busy as Ijji 2. Our drinks hardly ever sit half empty, with multiple staff serving us often.



From warm and cold sake drinks to warm and cold sushi rolls (long and hand), the food here is always satisfying and the staff does more than their fair share of making you feel welcomed at their restaurant. This has become our favorite place to eat, where we celebrate our monthly anniversaries with good food and good people!!
