First time renting in Reno so my evaluation may not be fair. I am use to larger airports where they have the Emerald Aisle selection. In Reno you go to an office in the car area, select a car then they fill out the paperwork which was much more cumbersome and time consuming.

Was greeted with a grunt and zero eye contact. Asked my wife "what did he say?" My wife tells me he said "Just a minute."

When it was "our turn" we got normal interactions. We got one of two cars available in Emerald aisle: Chrysler 300 or Explorer. We took the SUV. It had a faint smell of cigars. Otherwise everything was the typical excellent I've come to expect from National.
