It's almost like being in San Francisco! The view of the Sierras is even better. A great change from casino dining.

A friend gave us a gift card to celebrate our anniversary here. The setting is elegant, quiet and well suited for a quiet dinner for two. Service was very attentive. Bottles of wine on Mondays are half off! We had the 3-course special dinner. The sand dabs were excellent and generous in portion. The T-bone steak, although thin, was cooked rare as ordered. The side dishes were average. Only complaint is that meal felt rushed-would have liked more time to savor the wine before and between courses.

25yrs ago outstanding, 15-20yrs ago excellent. last 2-3 yrs mediocre. always was med/expensive. service is still excellent. if you are a non-smoker might have problem, as the bar customers "smoke", unless law change effected same. i haven't eaten there in last 6 mo. when food was better i ate there 1-2 weekly.

This is a very fine resataurant. The extensive menu, attention to detail and presentation of meals is fantastic. The atmosphere is quaint, relaxing and cozy. The chef is great, innovative sauces to test any pallate. You can order anything on the menu and rest asuured it will be to your satisfaction.
