This man Leonard is CON-ARTIST, as stated by another person above. I completely agree!!! He takes your money for his own financial gain. He told me I had to stay there after a traffic/alcohol violation (NOT court ordered) and pay him $125 per week when I only had to take a class. The classes there are a joke! Don't know how they would help anyone. PLEASE be aware of this place do NOT go here what so ever!! If you have been cheated like I have please call and make a complain so they can do something about it. Call the Better Business Bureau, the County, post your reviews etc. He needs to be stopped!!

I would like to straighten out a few things that have been said about Safe Harbor. First they are not money hungry, I personaly have been behind on my rent several times and was never threatened to be throw out. Second I relapsed one month after being here and was given a second chance by Leonard himself and because of that chance I realized that people really did care if I made it or not. Leonard and Tennessee went and talked to my parole officer so I would not be sent back to prison. And now I have a real program and have done a full 180 to my life. I will be graduating this program is two weeks and I wouldn't have if I was not cared about by all the staff here at Safe Harbor. So contrary to all the other reviews on here if you are truly ready to better you life you should give yourself the 90 days that it takes to have a new beginning to a clean and sober life.

I would just like to say that I completed the Safe Harbors program and without it my life would be back in prison. I spent a lot of money and time on rehab and never succeeded. I came here in Febuary and I am still here. While being here I got my family back in my life. I learned my soberity and I now have a program. Without Leonard, Ryan, Ashley, and the people here I would have ended up back into drugs. And it is not about the money here, bacause I was a month behind on my rent and as long as I was doing the right thing by working my program and looking for work everyday he did not throw me out. And he taught me things that changed my life to the better. Right now this house is full and has been, and we have a very good group of men and women here, and on a daily basic Ryan, Ashely, and Leonard do everything in their power to help you get work and make sure you have everything that you need. So people that say this is a bad place are the ones that are not ready to change their life and still have the addictive thinking. So I would just like to thank Safe Harbors for giving me my life back.

IF YOU LIKE ACTING LIKE YOUR STILL ON THE STREET AND NOT IN RECOVERY THEN LENARD IS THE GUY YOU WANNA BE LIKE. WHEN HE GETS ALL HE CAN GET IF. YOUR THERE A DAY. A WEEK. OR MONTH. WHEN THERE NO MORE TO TAKE HE WILL KICK YOU OUT ON THE STREET. HE DID IT TOO HIS MANGER STEVE. AND A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE. IT WAS OK FOR HIS OWN BROTHER TO EAT PILLS AND RUN THE UPPER HOUSE. HIGH AS A KITE. WE NEED TO GO TO THE P.O.S OFFICE AND BRISSELCONE. DRUG COURT AND ANYONE ELSE THAT WILL HEAR US AND PUT THIS PIECE OF TRASH ON THE STREET BECAUSE THATS WHERE HE AND RYAN NEED TO BE !!!! IN RECOVERY YOU SHOULD PRAY FOR THE SICK AND SUFFERING. NOT PRAY ON THEM...... LENARD THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL FOR YOU......... KEEP BUYING ALL THEM BIKES AND TRUCKS WITH ALL THAT BLOOD MONEY WHEN WE SHUT YOU DOWN AND WE WILL. I HOPE YOU END UP IN A PLACE JUST LIKE YOURS....

before actually going to safe harbors on may17th 2011 I didn't believe the reviews I had read here. But, now I'm here to tell you that all the bad reviews that SafeHarbor gets it certainly does deserve them and probably more.Leonard is shall I say simply and idiot and does belittle his " clients" every chance he gets. His rent records are accurate only in his and his trio of money hungry clan. Ryan who has some made up title " assistant" thinks as long as he's raising his voice(which he calls assertive answers) His threats or all their threats to the beginner may scare someone into thinking that these people do know what their talking about... they don't and if you don't love your family friend etc.... then hook them up with Safe Harbor .....I f you DO love them run from Safe Harbor because it's only motivation is money.... they are crooked more than I can tell you here.... email maddifotoso@yahoo.com for more info. I am not out to bad mouth them but just trying to lay down the facts,,,, may your parole officer be with you if you do go there...... i gave this business a one star rating because i had to in order to post this and there was no negative stars...

MY SON STAYED HERE WITH LEONARD AND REPORTED TO ME ALL OF LEONARDS BEHAVIOR AND HIS BELITTLING CLIENTS WHO ARE THERE FOR HELP. MY SON LEFT THE PROGRAM OWEING $250.00 AND LEONARD WOULD NOT GIVE HIM HIS DIABETIC MEDICINE OR HIS CLOTHES. HE STAYED IN THE STREETS WITHOUT ANYTHING UNTIL I CALLED THE POLICE AND MADE THEM GIVE HIM HIS BELONGINGS. AFTER THAT LEONARD SENT A FALSE NOTICE TO THE COURT SAYING THAT MY SON THREATENED HIM AND IS TRYING TO HAVE THE COURT GIVE HIM MORE TIME IN PRISON. THIS MAN IS A THIEF AND LIAR. BE VERY CAREFUL SEEKING HELP IN THIS FACILITY.
