I made an unfortunate decision in having ST at Rand & Associates do our taxes last year. He NEVER responded to emails or phone calls, and I mean NEVER!! Not only that but every time we called, we were told by the receptionist that he does not come in until 10am and then we would call back around 2pm and were told by the receptionist that he had left for the day. Really? This happened time and time again. He only copied what I had already done on Turbo Tax, made me wait until the final filing day to finally get in touch with me to give me my taxes (which were no different than what I had already done on Turbo Tax) and then charged me $500. What a joke!! Do NOT use this accounting firm. Not only did he not do anything for me, he gave me the worst advice. After consulting another accounting firm for my 2011 taxes, of course after we did not get a return call from Scott, we were told that all the money we spent on obtaining an S Corp were ill advised and so we had to incur more fees to undo his bad advice. Stay away from Rand & Associates.

Big disappointment. Dropped off my confidential tax and financial information and never heard from them again. Tax deadline was approaching so I started calling my rep. (ST), he would not return my calls. The office assistant confrimed that he was getting his messages but just not responding. She told me that he usally comes in at about 10am (during tax season!?) Finally got to the point where I had to go to the office and sit in the lobby until they made him put my taxes together. He sent them out to the front office receptionist, he never even came out of his office. NEVER AGAIN.

I have used Rand and Associates for years and they have always been very helpful to me and my business. They have done tax preparation for me and my family and have come up with several ways to reduce taxes and plan for the future. I highly recommend them for anyone needing financial help in their business.
