The law firm of The Law Offices of Charles R. The members of our firm have sat on various boards and commissions including nonprofit organizations such as the Board of Directors of the YMCA of the Sierra, the Reno YMCA Board of Managers, the Washoe Association of Retarded Citizens, now merged into Washoe Ability Resource Center, the Reno and Regional Planning Commissions and the City of Reno Downtown Redevelopment Board, Citizen Advisory Committee, the Nevada Supreme Court Mediation Program and lay Board of Advisers of Notre Dame Law School. Our members have also taken leadership roles and responsibilities on these boards and commissions. - Charles R. Zeh is the managing member of The Law Offices of Charles R. Zeh, Esq. He practices primarily in the areas of Tribal law, commercial litigation, land use and planning, property, economic development and employment law. He has been legal counsel to several Nevada Tribes, two Indian Housing Authorities, and a Tribal Economic Development Authority, advising these Tribal clients in various matters including land use, housing, banking, sovereignty, employment and Indian gaming. He also successfully litigated in Federal Court on behalf of Tribes. For example, on a motion for summary judgment against the City of Fallon, Mr. Zeh succeeded in requiring the City of Fallon to deliver municipal utilities to tribal trust status lands for the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe. See, Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe v. City of Fallon, Nevada, et al., 174 F.Supp.2d 1088. (D.Nev., 2001). Mr. Zeh has substantial expertise in employment law matters. He was counsel on three of the leading published Nevada Supreme Court cases which have shaped the development of employment law in Nevada. Mr. Zeh also has experience in the area of administrative law. He is legal counsel to the Board for the Administration of the Subsequent Injury Board for Self-insured Employer and the Board for the Administration of the Subsequent Injury Account for the Association of Self-insured Public and Private employers.

He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Cornell University School of Law, is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the States of Nevada and Minnesota, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court, and has successfully argued cases before the Nevada Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Inter- Tribal Court of Appeals in Nevada.
