Thanks McClincy’s, my home was flooded by a broken pipe under my kitchen sink. I called McClincy’s Emergency Response and they were very calming to me and gave me great service on what to do while they dispatched their crew which arrived within an hour. When they arrived they presented themselves very professionally and were caring and polite. They were able to help me with my insurance carrier to get through their process. After everything was dry their project manager stepped forward to restore my house wonderfully. All the people were pleasant, on-time and very skilled. What was first a nightmare became a pleasant experience using McClincy’s Nice you have someone you can trust and count on.

Provided by YP.comWe had a pipe break in our basement apartment and they were quick to respond even though it was after hours. They went the extra mile to help us even before they were sure they would be doing the complete restoration job because insurance coverage was questionable. They got the water out quickly, but their construction services have sucked. The contract we signed to get them to do the water restoration required us to use their construction services. It's been four months and the work is still not completed. They made promises that certain things would go much easier than they have. They assured me that they would be dealing directly with the insurance company and I wouldn't have to play middle man, but that has not been true. Their workers have made some careless mistakes and communicating with them has been difficult. Make sure you check off the things they are supposed to do and go over the work with a fine tooth comb. Don't believe everything the tell you.

Provided by YP.comEarly January, after the 12" of snow followed by heavy rain fell, our sump area alarm sounded around 9pm. This only meant that the sump water was rising and needed attention. Three of us started bailing water out of the sump and hauling it outside. After 3 hours of this we decided that we were not getting ahead of the problem and needed to call a company that had big pumps and could assist. We called McClincy's Home Decorating, they assured that they had big pumps and they would be there in about an hour after stopping to retreive said "big pump" After arriving and assesing the problem, the worker (never hooking up any pump, big or small), decided to take apart the 2 pumps we had running to allow him to hook up a larger hose to one of the two pumps. Not showing up with any tools to perform this task led to the water rising in the sump area to a level that covered our basement floor to a depth of 3-4 inches in less that 5 minutes. After days of clean-up and many items being ruined, we then received a bill for over $3300.00 for clean up of the water. I swear to you that this is true. I am not making this up...call them and ask...but please think at least twice before calling McClincy's Home Decorating to perform any work on your home !
Thank you for your review. We implemented new procedures in March that will ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

I want to commend McClincy's on providing outstanding service to my family when my water pipe busted. We were referred to them by our plumber. They not only helped me navigate through the maze of insurance adjustor conversations but educated myself and my husband how to work with my insurance adjustor to demand fairness in restoring my home back to its pre-loss condition.Unfortunately my insurance adjuster initially tried to steer me away from them; but I'm so glad we selected them as our contractor of choice. All their employees were professional, showed up on time and the sales person had amazing follow-through and kept us informed of every phase of the project. I would highly recommend them

I had a tough time working with McClincy's while trying to recover from my water damaged home.My home had sufferred water damages during the December'08 snow storm. This was the first time I had to file a claim with my home insurance company. I did not know how insurance works. When I contacted McClincy's, they quickly figured out my ignorance in this area. They promised me that they will fix everything in my home and also take care of filing paper work with my insurance company. Desperate to get my damaged home back to normalcy, I trusted their promises and signed the contract with them.Very soon, my insurance company sent a check to them paying them the amount in full. Ofcourse they came over to my home to get my signature as well on that check since it was a joint check. Little did I know that the moment they get the check encashed, they will stop working at my home. I kept trying desperately to contact them. I left various voice mails and sent numerous email messages. None of th
