A-1 has worked on my son's truck several times and each time they were friendly, courteous, and very helpful, explaining what needed to be repaired and what could wait and finding the best prices in order to help us save. The repairs were done in a timely manner. This staff is great. I will continue to use them for all my repair needs.

Everyone was great! They explained everything to me and when my husband called they explained + answered everything he was concerned about. Polite and helpful . I'd recommend the Shop in Republic to all my family & friends . Thank You Guys .

Great mechanics. The receptionist was very kind and joked with me to cheer me up. The mechanic that worked on my car came and explained everything that was going on with my car and told me the price of everything ( breaking it down). I freaked out a little because it was so much and they went through everything and tried to get the price down. I did not feel like I was getting run over just because I was a girl. They were honest about what was going on with my car. Will be coming back

Great mechanics and receptionist was very helpful! The Mechanics explained what was wrong with my car and my options, then explained how to make sure this dosent happen again so soon( change ur oil on time:) I really appreachiate the time they took and the price was fair, work was great and all around great experience! I will contine to go back for all my car problems!

Don't let the name fo you. Best place around to get work done on everything!! These guys are always been honest and forth right. I know when they say work needs to be done, it truly needs to be done not just because they want more money. I would NOT trust my car with anyone else!

I went to the republic location for something simple. The guys there were great and very nice. The older receptionist lady i think her name started with a d was very rude when i went in. I will not be returning if this woman is still there. That is not what i call customer service.

Went there for an inspection. Received prompt service and tehy got me taken care of quickly. They also told me about coupons and how to get them, and about future maintenance needs for my vehicle. The service was friendly and fast.

I have used them a few times now and always get in the same day I need to. When told about a problem with the car, they talk to me in layman terms, so I understand, yet don't talk down to me. They do not try to do un necessary work and explain options when faced with a big job. The staff are all very friendly also.

Fast, courteous and reasonable cost

I have been going to A-1 since I have had my Buick. I must say that I am very happy with the service I recieve there. They are always very fair with me, and patient in explaining what exactly is going on with my car. They do not waste my money, and look for the best solution that is also cost efficient. I love this shop!!

I've been going to A-1 Custom for my oil changes and they have always been helpful to me, someone who knows very little about cars. They go out of their way to bring me into the shop to show me other troubles my car may be having and offer suggestions of what would be the best way to fix them, but also not pressuring me to do so at the time. I would recommend them to anyone looking for friendly, affordable car repairs.

I went in on 9/3/11 to see what it would take to replace/fix my wife's tail pipe. I arrived at 8:05am (they open at 8:00) and found many cars in the bays already and 2 people in the shop. I thought it may be a little while to have my car seen, and reasonably so with what I witnessed. I entered the waiting area and stood around for 15 minutes. No one ever came to talk to me, or ask what I needed done. I parked in the very first spot so I'm almost certain they would have seen me arrive since the shop doors were open. I went to the glass door to the shop, with a sign that says to stay in the waiting area, to see if they would notice me. After waiting for such a long time, I left because I felt my business was not wanted. I may not have needed work done today, but I didn't need to waste my time either.

I have done business with A-1 Custom Muffler and Brake in Republic for 10 years, and go out of my way to give Anthony all of my auto business. Not only are they honest and capable, but they go out of their way to make certain that my cars are safe and efficient. It is a pleasure to find a business that gives you your money's worth, and does so in a pleasant, professional manner.

I have used this place for exhaust work for several years now and I can say, they are the Best and most honest automotive repair businesses I have ever used. Highly recommended, I would not go anywhere else in the Springfield, Mo/Republic area. I live in springfield and had to go out of my way several miles to use this facility and it was worth every mile out of the way. They are awesome !!

To Whom it May Concern...

Around Thanksgiving Anthony Fabbiano worked on/fixed a motorhome I had just bought. I think he did a great job! He kept me informed along the way and explained the repaires in a mannor that I was able to understand. I would recommend Anthony and A1.
