If I could give a rating less then 1 star, I would ! I was screwed over two times by this company. The first time they set my car on fire and I didnt know until I had gotten home, and they tried to pin the blame on me, when It was clearly a result of their poor maintenance. Several months later, I was willing to give them another chance, because it had gone well in the end and because they were the only company around who could do what I needed. I went there to get a car repaired and it took over two months to get our car back, resulted in unfair fees over $200, and I still didnt get my car fixed and buy a new car as a result plus I had to pay my own towing. They were very unprofessional and shady. In order to get my car fixed they said they needed an outside repairman to take it to his "personal workshop". Being a college student and working as well as having other responsibilities, I needed the car back as soon as possible. Upon conveying this, I was told it was a two week job. I called to check in, but was never given a straight answer as to how my car was doing. Around the third week I discovered that my car hadn't even been touched. Each time I called to check in afterwords, I was told that yocum "couldnt get ahold of the repairman, but they left a message." and I couldnt contact him directly for a good long while. They never could get ahold of him-until I told them I needed to know right then how far we were along so I knew whether to continue with this. When they found out their money was on the line, they magically got ahold of him on the first try and called me back within five minutes. Almost two months later, They still hadnt touched it. I told them to forget it and bought a new car. But it still wasnt over- I still had to get my car back. And now, almost three months later, I have finally got ahold of the "outside repairman". I got my car back today, 2/4/15, verging on four months. I had to pay all towing fees, cancellation fees, and I had to pay for other fees even though I didnt need one and knew exactly what was wrong. In short, please believe me when I say this establishment is as unprofessional as they come and have now screwed me over two times. Think twice-no, think ten times, before bringing your vehicle here-it may mean the death of your car and possibly yourself as well as a mount of debt!

I took my car to Yocum Automotive for some mechanical issues i was having. They were prompt with getting the repair finished, very competitive in their pricing and the staff was super friendly. I would recommend anyone in the Springfield/ Republic area in need of a trustworthy body shop to check out Yocum Automotive.
