Worst Rental Car Experience Ever. For the following reasons. 1. 30 minute wait to be picked up at Logan. 2. One thrifty bus went by without picking anyone up. 3. 30 minute ride to rental car location located 3 miles away from the airport in heavily congested area so add at least 1 hour time from 2 hour arrival at airport if you want to make your flight. 4. When I finally got to the counter the car I rented had been given away to someone else. 5. When I asked for a comparable car they said they had none despite the fact there was one sitting right on the lot in plain sight. 6. When I pointed this out the manager said it was already reserved despite the fact this did not stop them from giving my reserved car away. Interestingly, he also said they had rented that same vehicle to 4 different people (i.e. overbooked) so 3 of those 4 people were going to be ripped off as well. How this isn't criminal fraud is beyond me. 7. I left Logan airport at 430 and left the rent a car building at 715 with an inferior car to the one I paid for. 8. Other then the above I have no other comments.

I reserved a spot for 1 week. Dropped off my car and got a little uneasy because another customer was talking about the pictures he was taking of the damage to his car he was picking up. I took the 6 digit code they gave me and left. When I flew back in, I texted the 6 digit code to the number they gave me. When I arrived they asked if I had called? No I texted. Paid and went to my car, which had the keys in the dash, and was obviously unlocked. Made me wonder how long it had been unlocked and unsecured. I took a quick glance at the bumpers to make sure there was no major damage and went home. When I got home there was a 10"x1" mark on my door where another door had been opened into it. If I had a brand new car, I would be outraged, but my car is 3 years old. Would I go here again? Not if I had a brand new car! Oh and 29 hours later...I got the text back from Thrifty that my car is ready to be picked up! Now that's an efficient system they have!

I reserved a car, they decided AT THE COUNTER not to rent to me and started yelling at me in some launguage I didn't understand, It was the worst experience of my life.



I called management and recieved the same treatment.



We have a very sick child and they made us stand outside for over 30 minutes waiting for a cab. Then to make it worse, because they drove us so far away to pick up the car, we had to spend over 30 dollars for a cab ride to our hotel.



Enterprise brought us a car the next day., Go there instead, seriously.



There is something wrong with this company. They are owned by Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc, which owns dollar also. Do yourself a favor and read the other reviews around the web.



These are people of very low character and you should not trust them at all

I was happy up until I got in my car and noticed all my change gone as well as my dunkin donuts gift card I keep in that area for convenience. Disappointed that someone has the nerve to steal.....otherwise, convenient parking, shuttle on time and car ready and waiting when you get back.
