Founded in 1999, Roberta T. Smith Elementary is a public, suburban school that educates more than 950 students in kindergarten through grade five. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is located in Rex, Ga. The school focuses on technology development and provides digital communication systems in classrooms. Its facilities feature more than 10 computer laboratories and over 60 regular and modular classrooms. Roberta T. Smith Elementary has nearly 100 staff members that include instructional technology specialists, counselors, homeroom teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, therapists and social workers.
