Messy but Quick

I am hesitant on writing this because they are knowledgeable about what they do at a fair hourly rate and they seem very amicable. However I hope they read this so they can improve their customer service and ultimately help their business.I had them do some work on our house which was done in a timely fashion. But they cut about 7 holes the size of a wall plate hoping they could reroute some wires in an existing home then simply put plates on them to cover up the holes. That didn't work. I expected them to take care of the holes but it was obvious as he started to pack up that he wasn't going to. He asked me if I wanted him to leave the drywall cutouts so I could fix it easier. I asked him if he could give me a discount on the price since he wasn't going to fix the issue. He stated that he got the job done faster than expected so he guessed that was my discount. During cleanup he asked if I had a vacuum. I guess I would expect them to carry their own shop vac and clean up their mess. The simple household vacuum we provided wasn't working very well so most of the drywall garbage that couldn't be vacuumed up was ground into the carpet.He had done some work outside and there was a mess of wire clippings, screws and other miscellaneous garbage simple left right outside the doorstep. Great guy..seemed like a good ol' boy to talk to but I was sort of shocked at what I was left to deal with. I would still recommend them because they have been doing it quite awhile and know what they are doing. Just expect a huge mess to clean up.
