Provided by YP.comWent in for an oil change. Waited 15 min in line and asked a guy in front of me how long he had been waiting. He said 35 min. The sales associate was on the phone. I looked for the store General Manager and he hurried over to find auto dept. manager. Finally did the paper work for oil change after I had been there 30 min. So, to kill time, I shopped around the store. Came back to auto dept. 30 min later and they had not started on my car. There were only 4 other cars in the bay area. I said cancel my oil change. I had been there a total of 1 hour. This auto dept is the worst customer service I have ever seen!!! It use to be great but is now horrible!!

Provided by YP.comVery unprofessional, unorganized and bad management. I came to Sears at 3.30 pm and was supposed to get back my car by 6pm, but work was not done and finally I came to check at 7.30pm and still they said it will take 10 more minutes. Finally at 8pm they told me the cannot drain the oil because they cannot open the drain nut and I must pay for fitters and take the car back, it was quit absurd, what took them 4.5 hours to know they cannot change oil for my car!
Finally I went in their shop to see how they were working, it looked like they did not have proper tools to work, tools they used to untighten the nut did not even held it completely, it spoilt the nut.
After this 3 of their workers started to talk to me in high tone that I must pay for the filters, I denied but they were relentless and said they will not return back my car if I did not pay. Almost thought about calling police for help, but again these are employees, management did not train them in right way to work and work with customers.
Finally I asked them what principle behind their demand to ask me to pay when work was not done! Why were even new filters installed when old oil was not drained! They said they will replace old filters and then they are not responsible if anything goes bad with my car. So in short they just care for money they make and not customers. Finally I got my car back, but not sure what they did with filters.

Provided by YP.comSent my 17 year old in to have a battery replaced under warranty and he was told the battery was good and the alternator needed replacing for around $650.00. They charged me a $13.00 fee to look at the car. Took car to a reputable car shop, they connected to their equipment and they said the alternator was fine and the battery was faulty. I used to believe in Sears and DieHard batteries, but now I don't trust this place.
