Established in 1907, the Fishlake National Forest encompasses nearly 1.5 million acres in Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier and Wayne counties in Utah. The forest features the Fish Lake, which is one of the largest natural mountain lakes in the state. Its lake offers trophy fishing and bird watching activities. The Fishlake National Forest visitors enjoy various forms of recreation, such as hunting and off-highway vehicles use. The forest is managed for livestock grazing and timber management services. The Fishlake National Forest s projects include National Environmental Policy Act, Quitchupah Creek Road, Pahvant Fuels Reduction, and Oil and Gas Leasing EIS.
