Atlantic Service & Supply was established as Atlantic Air in 1979. It was an air conditioning contractor selling and installing systems to manufactured housing dealers in the Fort Worth, Texas, area. The company soon began setting up wholesale customers throughout the state, as well as maintaining its contracting position in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In 1994, it was given distribution rights to the Miller product line for Oklahoma and in 1998, it was granted distribution rights for the Miller product line for the states of Arizona, Nevada and Utah. The company has become one of Nordyne's largest distributors. It is a subsidiary of Watsco, one of the largest distributors of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration products in the United States. Watsco operates from nearly 400 locations in more than 30 states and Puerto Rico, and serves approximately 38,000 contractor customers. Atlantic Service & Supply has a location in Richland Hills, Texas.
