***Before you read this review, understand I like to have control of my vacations as I want them perfect…its vacation and I’m the only one who cares how my vacation goes.  Call me a control freak if that’s how you read it. I just want a great vacation***

If you are thinking that using a travel agent for you vacation you may be making a mistake. I'm in a group of 25+ people taking a Carnival cruise and the handling of my personal reservation has been nothing short of disappointing. The lack of emails and communication atop of you having no control of your reservation. In addition, when I called Carnival and received my balance (which they are not allowed to disclose) I had to pay significantly more from what Carnival told me my balance was. I booked in 6+ months prior to departure and given I've been on several cruises they selected the worst possible room. Very front of the ship. Mid-ship was available and why we were given such a garbage room I don’t even want to ask and why this review is being written! Do it yourself, pay a little extra, have control of your vacation because I WILL NEVER LET A TRAVEL AGENT do anything for me again!!!

They get 2 stars because they did make the reservation and took my payment.
