Ray’s has been bought out by Waste Industries. I have been with them since ‘95.
It’s been a roller coaster of a ride but they in the most part provided good service. Would encourage you to stay away from Waste Industries.

We have had Ray's Rural Garbage Collection service for a year, they get one star for at least picking up the majority of the trash we leave out. Customer service is sub par; good luck getting someone to answer the phone. They won't take *ANY* yard waste to include leaves even though we put them in the biodegradable bags that you can get at Lowe's. (I believe Wal-Mart sells them, too) Yes, we're aware that their policy is that they won't pick up yard waste but WHO DOES THAT??? We've lived in MANY places and had MANY trash companies....and they ALL pick up leaves that are bagged!! If you leave anything out that's NOT in the trash can THEY give you (such as an extra bag of trash) they will not pick it up and they will not empty out your personal cans. We chose them because the majority of our neighbors have their service with acception to one and, really, we settled for the service they provide so maybe we shouldn't complain but we would not recommend them at all.

I have been a loyal customer since 1994, and although the quotes are nice they need to stand behind what they say. I pay my bill 4-5 months in advance and the service is horrible they pickup when they want schedule is never same. Which confuses my son who I`m trying to teach responsibility but when he puts the trash out on days he is suppose too they never pickup. Think I will take my business elsewhere, or haul my on to the dump for less.

For the price we pay they are awesome. Always clean and friendly. They never leave anything on the ground even if they have to run after something.
