Our practice focuses on Personal Injury/Wrongful Death, Criminal Defense, Traffic Violations, and Family Law including Divorce, Child Support and Child Custody and Coal Bed Methane (CBM)/Escrow Recovery. Shea graduated from Richlands High School in 1984. He went on to graduate from Southwest Virginia Community College (1986), Virginia Tech (1988), and George Mason School of Law (1992). Shea was commissioned as an U.S. Army Officer in 1988, and served in the Virginia Army National Guard for 21 years. He is currently a Lt. Colonel in the JAG Corps, and recently completed a tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Command Judge Advocate in Baghdad. Shea has practiced law for the past 16 years, representing men and women throughout Southwest Virginia. From Roanoke to Lee County, Tazewell to Bristol, and from the General District Court to the Virginia Supreme Court, Shea has been there.
