Grant Elementary School enrolls more than 600 students annually in kindergarten through grade six. The school s curriculum includes math, science, social science, and visual, performing and language arts. In addition, it provides music and physical and special education classes. Grant Elementary School conducts academic counseling and speech and language sessions. The school administers a gifted and talented education program. It includes a school site council that is comprised of parents, teachers and staff members. Grant Elementary School is a part of the West Contra Costa Unified School District, which serves over 31,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12 and offers educational programs for adult learners.
