Coastal Confections, established in 2013, is proud to be the premiere bakery and cake shop in Richmond Hill GA.  The owner and head cake decorator Davy Crockett Murray was trained at the Culinary Institute of Savannah and while there he was inducted not once, but twice into the State of Georgias Honorary Phi Theta Kappa society for his continuing commitment to culinary excellence. 

  In 2012, Davy graduated the Culinary Institute of Savannah with honors and became a Certified through the American Culinary Federation. In December 2012 Davy also became a Certified ServSafe Instructor.   In December 2013 Davy received his Baking and Pastry Arts Degree from the Culinary Institute of Savannah and again graduated with honors.

  As a Certified ServSafe Instructor, Davy personally oversees each order at Coastal Confections to ensure all safety, sanitation and health regulations are followed to the letter. You can rest assured that your order will be prepared not only correctly but with the utmost attention to Health Regulations.

   Davy is very active in the Richmond Hill community, always donating his talents for worthy charities and causes, most recently the Richmond Hill Rotary Club which earned Davy a live interview on WTOC for his outstanding cake creations.

   Coastal Confections specializes in Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes, and any Occasion Cakes. We also sell pies, cupcakes, cookies, multiple types of pastries and danishes as well as several different types of breads.
