Saw the previous review and was apprehensive about taking my pants there. However, I was in a hurry. She did a very good job on them, and I have taken several other things to her since then. I like the fact that she almost insists on me trying on my clothes before leaving her shop, to ensure everything fits properly. I guess she has gotten better.

I hate to write a bad review for such a nice person, but I do have to share a bad experience I had there. I took a formal gown to her to be taken in a size and have the straps taken up a bit. She was quick with her pins and seemed to know what she was doing. I paid up front that day only because she does not take credit cards and I happened to have cash on me at the time. Big mistake. When I went to pick up the dress, it was literally crooked at the bust and there was a little "wing" poking out under my left armpit. She acted like it was perfect until I pointed out these obvious flaws. She took out her chalk marker and promised to have it fixed by the next day. When I went back to pick it up this time, it was still crooked, but tighter-- too tight. She literally looked at it, said "Oh, too tight- thank you very much!" I didn't know what to say. I guess I have never had someone acknowledge they performed a bad service and then thank me instead of offering to make it right. At this point I should have demanded a refund, but I just took off the dress and left with it. She is a very sweet lady, and I didn't want to be ugly. I will certainly never take her any more business, and I wanted to warn all of you from doing the same.
