This place is great! I've been a couple of times, and everything has always tasted fresh and delicious.

Lots and lots of canned vegetables...dessert brought in from Sysco and not very good. Tiny, dry pieces of chicken...and this was June of 2011 when everyone knows better than to use canned vegetables.



No southern cook would be caught dead with canned vegetable on their table when the beans are fresh in the garden.



Do not recommend this restaurant unless everything else is closed. It was clean and service was ordinary.

We were helped out in a pinch through their catering service. The display and service were wonderful! The food was okay-good. We had 1/2 less guests than what we originally expected at our event. As long as the food extra food wasn't spoiled it was understood that it was to be left at the event. However, most unused items were packed up and taken away. Was it then used on the buffet at the restaurant? Would not recommend for catering unless there is a verbal agreement / understanding beforehand and a taste-testing. Prices are average to high.

I recently visited this restaurant while visiting in the area. The food is great! Hot and fresh and as close to home cooking as I have been able to find in these parts. Will go back next time I visit this city.
