Dr. Kevin A. Singh is a licensed optometrist providing comprehensive eye care at NY Vision Group. He received his doctorate in optometry from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2021. In addition, Dr. Singh is one of first recipients of a micro-credential in the subspecialty of glaucoma. He has also completed extensive training at NYU Langone Health under the tutelage of world renowned eye care providers. During his time as a doctoral student, Dr. Singh received numerous accolades, scholarships and awards including Excellence in Optometry, Johnson & Johnson’s J. Pat Cummings Scholarship and the Dennis & Lesley Gehr Scholarship. He served as President of the Student Glaucoma Society and Treasurer of the Optometric Innovations & Technologies Club. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and has written publications and presented about advanced ocular disease management. Dr. Singh has a particular interest in utilizing ophthalmic imaging to better improve patient treatment and outcomes. Dr. Singh is a familiar face around the practice and the Richmond Hill area as he is rejoining the practice after spending 5 years as an ophthalmic technician assisting with patient care. It is at NY Vision Group where he developed his passion to help improve and expand evidence-based eye care to those in need. Dr. Singh is of Indo-Carribean descent and resides in Queens, NY. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family and loves traveling to the Caribbean for leisure.
