I have an older tractor with a Kohler engine which has an oddball starter. I went to several other small engine repair shops looking for a new starter, with no success. I stopped at Valentine's shop and they found the starter I needed, just by researching in their vast library of parts books, something none of the other shops had. Computers are no match for experience and knowledge. And I got the starter in 3 days, not 3 weeks like the other shops said it would take.

I have purchased equipment and have had them do repairs on that equipment several times. My biggest complaint is that they go ahead and repair whatever problem there is without calling with and estimate first.
We specifically asked them to call with an estimate BEFORE making any repairs. Only to find the equipment delivered with a bill attached to it. Usually for several hundred dollars. This happened so many times, that we had to stop using their services.
