Prior to purchasing a home, I rented a house managed by Glad Properties. As others have stated, the company (or single owner?) was extremely unprofessional. There weren't any major issues until moving-out and we were looking to receive our deposit check. We followed every guideline stated in the lease and more - the house was in very good condition when we moved out. We wanted to do everything possible to maximize the refund.

However, our check was drastically lower (over $1k lower) than expected so I contested the amount. It seemed that the company was purposely drawing out the process via email. I would have to follow-up each email before receiving a reply. No phone calls were ever answered and I even suggested an in-person meeting to get things squared away - no reply regarding any of those. Luckily, I had taken an entire video of the house prior to move-out, so it was difficult on their part to justify many of the extraneous expenses. In many cases, we were getting charged for damage that was already present before move-in. I had to use the real estate pictures posted on HAR to prove it wasn't us. After a long drawn out email chain, we finally received an additional amount (but not the whole amount). However, I still felt cheated and wasted a lot of time.

I'm 'Glad' I never have to deal with this company again. Hopefully this review can save someone else a lot of trouble.
