I'm terrified of dentists, always have been. Dr. Hamilton is the one dentist that understands my fears and takes time to talk me through each step and does it all with no pain. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hamilton. After 30+ years, I'm just a bit more at ease now that he's my DMD!

Highly recommend Dr. Hamilton and his staff. Ive been a patient of Dr. Michael D. Hamilton for over 20 years. When my husband moved to Richmond from Roanoke 16 years ago, he became a patient of Dr. Hamiltons as well. From your routine 6 months checkup to a root canal or crown, we have found Dr. Hamilton to be knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest dental procedures. He is thorough, yet gentle. His friendly and knowledgeable staff is the best in the business - they are smart, helpful and funny! The office is conveniently located on Patterson Avenue near Three Chopt. I was in search of a new dentist due to my insurance changing to a new company when I had a crown break off and after reading all the positive reviews on line called Dr. Hamiltons office and they were able to see me that same day and with my first visit the entire staff made me feel welcome and like I had been a patient there for years. All the staff were extremely helpful in guiding me to the right decisions for my emergency dental care. They take the time to listen and understand whatever problems you may be having in regards to your dental care and needs and providing a treatment plan to give you the best dental care. The entire staff displays a genuine attitude of caring about me and my health. Pam is very helpful in providing the financial information you need to know how much you will have to pay out of pocket for your dental care. Dr. Hamilton and his staff are a great team.

Even though I have long since moved from the Patterson Ave area I continue to drive from the far Southside because I would not consider changing where I receive my dental care.

I have been going to Dr. Hamilton, for (almost) as long as he has been a dentist; close to thirty years. He demonstrates exemplary dental skills, yet is known to be VERY delicate, while inside your mouth. While having root canals, I have requested Nitrous Oxide, and trust me; I needed it! Dr. Hamilton usually tries to perform all less invasive options (read less expensive), unless there is something that cannot be repaired. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hamilton to anyone thinking about changing dentists!

Been going to Dr. Hamilton for close to 13 years. I grew up hating the dentist and associated it with pain. I had not seen one for 15 years. Dr. Hamilton had a lot of work to do to get my teeth back into shape. Dr. Hamilton performed a number of procedures, painlessly. His staff is great. I find that going for a check-up there is actually a relaxing hour away from work. A great dentist and I cannot recommend him enough.

I have been going to Dr. Hamilton for at least 20 years and cannot think of any other dentist I would want to go to. He's the only dentist I ever went to that I was not scared of what procedure I was having. I've had lots of dental work and trust him totally. Even in an emergency I can count on him.

Dr. Hamilton has been our family dentist for about 19 years now. We could not ask for a better dentist. From gentle, caring first exams for my young children to great referrals for my oldest's wisdom tooth removal and braces, to checkups that have completely calmed this former dental coward's fears, Dr. Hamilton and his staff provide expert care!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hamilton's for over 20 years. He is gentle and always provides the best guidance in the care of my teeth. I have had cosmetic dentistry performed- excellent, beautiful result. I could not be more satisfied. Also, I have had implants restored by Dr. H which are just like my real teeth. My children are eager to go see "Dr. Mike". All of the friends I have referred to him have also been well-cared for. Highly recommended!

Dr. Hamilton is the best at gentle dentistry. He treats you with a light touch and professional skills. His staff is experienced and caring as well. You will not be disappointed! Jean
