The Division of Purchases and Supply provides a range of services to make it easier and convenient to do business with the government of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The division assists in the buying and selling of products. It offers educational resources for executives, managers, purchasing professionals and other individuals in specialized training courses. In addition, the Division of Purchases and Supply maintains a Web-based system, eVA, which caters to the needs of state agencies, colleges, universities and local governments. The system helps in announcing bid opportunities, receiving quotes and placing orders. The Division of Purchases and Supply is a part of the Department of General Services.
