Located in Ridgefield, Conn., East Ridge Middle School serves more than 700 students in grades six through eight. The school provides classes in English, social studies, science, mathematics, art and foreign languages. It provides a wide range of student services, including educational planning, test interpretation, career and occupational information and medical services. The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities that include musicals and track and field events. It has various student organizations and clubs, such as Youth to Youth, cross-country, doorways, yearbook and builder's clubs. In addition the school has musical groups, a student council and a national drug prevention program. East Ridge Middle School is a part of the Ridgefield Public Schools District.
