Established in 1962, Ridgebury Elementary School serves more than 470 students in kindergarten through grade five. It operates the parent-teacher association that sponsors several events, including annual family picnics and book fairs. In addition to its academic curriculum, the school offers several opportunities for students to participate in after-school enrichment programs, as well as cultural and theatrical performances. Ridgebury Elementary School s students are also given opportunities to serve the community in various activities, such as participating in sandwich making for the Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen and annual Jumpathon to support the American Heart Association. The school is governed by Ridgefield Public Schools.
