I am having my wedding at the Venetian and was recommended to Palermo Bakery. I went for a wedding cake tasting today and OMG, it was amazing. I worked with Jerry and he was such a pleasure. They gave us two dishes full of tastings and they were delish. I chose a beautiful fondant cake all blinged out. I am so excited to see the end product. Thank you Jerry

I have heard so much about Palermo's and finally decided it was the perfect opportunity to schedule an appointment for my engagement cake. When I saw my cake, I was speechless. I cannot thank Teresa and the Palermo team enough for being so helpful and accomodating! I will definitely be back to design my wedding cake! Not only are their cakes amazing, but next door, on the bakery side, the canolis and pastries are to die for! I have never been to a bakery like this.. FIVE STARS PALERMO'S!

I was so Dissapointed on the Birthday cake i ordered from Palermo Bakery in Ridgefield Park! when i went there to place the order,THEY MADE ME WAIT for more than an hour (standing) I thought this is a special Cake bakery, because the baker must be so busy that he could not attend to me.soon..I EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED ON THE CAKE.. A SIMPLE LITTLE DETAILS & COLORS TO PUT ON THE CAKE..

I WAS CHARGED SOOO MUCH FOR THE CAKE WHICH I THOUGHT THEY WILL MAKE THE CAKE NICE & BEAUTIFUL

IT WAS FOR A .60TH BDAY. THE CAKE CAME IN LATE.. OMG! THE CAKE WAS DECORATED SO UGLY THAT LOOKS LIKE A KID HAD DONE IT! THE CAKE WAS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS

* WITH "TIE DYE" IN COLORS. INSTEAD, THEY ICED IT W/ PINK & BLUE

* DAISIES, PEACE SIGNS, SMILIES "EDIBLES" THAT I WAS CHARGED EXTRA WAS NO WHERE TO FIND..INSTEAD, THE 60'S PEACE SIGN WAS ICED UPSIDE DOWN ! UGLY..UGLY..UGLY

* I ORDERED CREAM CHEESE ICING INSTEAD THEY USED A VERY VERY SWEET ICING

* THE OREO COOKIES & CUSTARD FILLINGS, WAS NOT USED..

THERE WAS SO MUCH LEFT OVER, THAT I DECIDED TO THREW IT OUT!

THERE WILL NEVER BE A NEXT TIME, & WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS BAKERY TO ANYONE!! THEY'VE CHARGED ME SO MUCH WITH POOR QUALITY

I would say do not to get your wedding cake at Palermo's. They show you the most beautiful cakes online but on the day of the wedding, it does like look like what you had seen. It looks like a child had decorated it. My local bakery could have done better.

It is an excellent bakery, everything is super fresh. They make beautiful cakes and have a special gallery for any specialty cakes you may need like wedding cakes etc. They'll even computerize any idea you may have and show you what the finished product will look like and you can always taste test. All they're pastries and cookies are all fresh too. I give them 5 stars.
