This company has always provided me with exceptional service at a reasonable rate. I have used them over the past four years for two major plumbing leaks, burst pipes and a garbage disposal replacement. Their repairman, Gray, is courteous and very knowledgeable. The whole company appears very very professional and can always be relied upon to come out to our home as schedules. I rarely write reviews one way or the other, but I saw a couple unfavorable ones and wanted to balance these out. My experiences with Skein has just been outstanding and I am a well pleased customer.

We had sewage going under our house. We had another plumber come out to our house but they were going to have to bust up our brand new hard wood floors, tear through the slab and even tearing through some cabinets and walls. We heard about Skeen's no dig technology. They were able to go in and reline the drain lines without any digging. They were extremely professional, knowledgable and courteous. Could not have asked for a better bunch of guys.

We had a problem with our pump and called Skeen because a close friend recommended them. They arrived promptly the next day . The motor has gone out, and the young man returned the next day and finished the repairs. He was courteous, gave us a clear explanation of the problem and the cost of repairs. We felt the cost was in line with the warrenty. I would recomend Skeen Plumbing to my friends without hesitation.

Skeen does above average work, but they are considerably more expensive than other plumbing contractors in the area. I was quoted over $500 to install gas logs (not including the price of the logs and I already have a gas line going to my fireplace). Just simply cutting and fitting less than 2 ft of pipe. I would look elsewhere if you are having plumbing work done unless someone else is picking up the tab.

I had a leak under my slab in my dining room that was ruining the hard wood floors. In January of 2008 I called Skeen. They took a video of my pipe, but we had to wait about an hour for Ricky to come because he was the only one who could use the special extra small camera. My husband spoke to Ricky about different options and we paid them close to $700. On the ticket they said they would review the film and call us back with options on what to do. In March we called them back because we had never heard from them and the problem was getting worse. We aked for the film to be sent to us and it never was. In June my husband was offered a job out of town and we had to fix the pipe and now ruined hardwood floor before we could put our house on the market. I called Skeen 7 times and asked them to please call me with an estimate and even asked Ricky (the owner) to call me back personally. We never heard from them. On July 7th I called and said we needed to come pick up the tape the next morning. The lady on the phone said they would have it ready. My husband went to pick up the tape at 12:30 and they said they couldn't find it. Ricky ( the owner) was very unapologetic to my husband. He did say he would call us that night, which he never did. This company is dishonest and I have doubts that they even took video of my broken pipe at all. I would never recommend this company to anyone!
