So this happened- I am furious with this store! I moved nearby this store and frequent it at least once a week...until today, that is. I choose to by my cleaning products and bathroom supplies at dollar general. However today my daughter found a toy she wanted that was on an endcap shelf. It was on the TOP and there was a $5 price for the whole shelf. The items on the shelf did not have price stickers on them. When I got to the register with my items I had the cashier check the price. It showed $20! My daughter had $10s to spend. I took the cashier to the endcap and showed her. She said she didn't do it and she was sorry. She started to walk back to the register and I just stood there. She didn't bother to move the other toy like the one my daughter had from the shelf. SO I told her that since she would not do it that I would do it! We get back to the register and I'm still upset and my daughter is crying. I ask her why she didn't do more and she mentioned that there were other items on the shelf that were 20$. So why did she not just grab the cardboard TAG that was placed on the end of the shelf so that NOBODY ELSE would have to go through this with their child! She said she did not have the time. It wouldn't have taken her 1 second when she was back there with ME to grab that $5.00 price marker from the shelf so that NOTHING was mix marked! She just told me that she didn't do it and she didn't have time to do anything about it because someone had frozen food. She didn't call a manager on duty to speak with me. She just let a customer who spends 100$ one or two times a week leave the store disgusted. Totally Disgusted. If you are putting these Lazy Rude girls in this store your profits will substantially fall. I have had a decent career in retail management and am repulsed by the way this cashier handled my, my upset daughter and the whole situation in general! Those Items are put on the endcaps specifically for children to see! It Sickens me that you allow this to happen and that when this DOES happen you don't have something in place to hold the store accountable! What a sorry cashier.



Totally revolted by this store today
