This is bye far the best church I have ever been to, I have never herd a pastor preach with more sincerity, And he preaches the BIBLE.

I love this church and pastor. The sermons are to the point, easy to understand and challenge us to be more committed and faithful in our walk with Christ. The format of the sermons is more like a bible study where we go through books of the bible verse by verse. My 13 and 16 year old sons even enjoy the sermons and understand the messages. My family is new to Rifle, we moved here a year ago and attended another church for the first six months we were here. Then my son got sick and had emergency surgery. Pastor BJ heard our story and came to the hospital to pray with us more than once without even knowing us. Since that time we have been attending this church and have felt accepted and have been given opportunity to help. I did not know the previous pastor from the time period when the negative review was written, but can assure everyone that her concerns are no longer an issue with the current pastor.

Rifle Assembly has since seen transition and is doing really well!

I went to this church for about 8 months and was happy to leave....the people, the building, the town everything was great except for the pastors. The hoops you have to jump through just to get involved are rediculous. The pastor and his wife had to be in absolute control of EVERYTHING. They are so hard to work with they went through 4 youth pastors in about 2 1/2 years. I saw the pastor and his wife in town getting her glasses adjusted at pearl vision and she was causing a scene. The managers actually had to come out of the back to help her. Talk about not being a very good witness.
