Paid $4K over a year ago for an awning and still have received it or our money back. The only contact made is when we pursue him, and all we get are excuses, but not our money or an awning!!!

Our company could not be more pleased with the beautiful custom made awnings and metal work Andy provided for our building. It looks gorgeous and is so well made. He is truly gifted and a pleasure to work with. If he hasn't made it before, he will figure it out and do it with perfection! He has even helped us with smaller jobs. He definitely goes above and beyond. Thanks for a job well done!

Tired of filing insurance claims due to continually needing to replace canvas awning cover around my front porch every few years due to wind damage and rot, I contacted MCI/Andy Hutson to obtain an estimate for a two-tone, customized metal awning for our house on Tybee Island in 2010. While the total costs of material, fabrication, and installation were not cheap, the ultimate result was high quality work and a very satisfactory finished product. In other words, I received what I paid for and it has maintained its integrity through 2 hurricanes while incurring 8 years of functional service! Realistically, I don't believe one could ask for more as it has been a very serviceable blessing and still looks good! Andy has assisted me with minor follow-up/maintenance upkeep via good advice and even unsolicited visitations. That should speak well of healthy customer service. Andy & MCI would be the ONLY firm I'd recommend to anyone in this area who prefers a professional job accomplished, again, while "getting what you pay for".

Metal Clad Industries is not only an outstanding metal fabrication company, Andy, the owner, is an artist! He is also an all around good guy who is honest, friendly, dependable and always follows through on his commitments. The facade of our house was pretty plain looking and we believed an awning would enhance the overall look of the home. We were in need of a 35 foot long awning across the front of our two story house on Burnside Island. Andy came out and we told him what we wanted. He listened to our ideas, looked at the area and proceeded to design, build and install the gorgeous metal awning that graces the home today. After the awning was installed, the front of our home was transformed into something far more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! We will always be grateful for Andy's excellent design work, fabrication, construction and installation expertise. Thank you Metal Clad Industries and Andy for a job well done.

Do not do business with this company owned by Andy. He is a con artist. He stole $1200 deposit and never finished the job. Stopped returning my calls. Beware!!
