Founded in 1992, Mountain View Middle School serves more than 750 students in grades six and seven. The middle school employs over 50 teachers and nearly 20 instructional support staff members. It offers education in several subjects, including mathematics, language arts, science, social studies, physical and health education, music and art. In addition, Mountain View Middle School offers classes in band, orchestra and chorus. The school also provides special education programs for students with learning disabilities. It maintains a library that provides links to encyclopedias, word books, games and informational databases.
