Been hard to find good pizza in ABQ area, coming from Chicago. Tasty (if odd sounding) apps, great pizza and meatball calzone the best. Cold beers, good service and kid-friendly. Went on a Friday night, busy but still felt taken care of and not rushed. We will go back.

Great food and brew

The food is really great! My fav is the nachos

Service was fast, friendly and attentive! Food is tasty and portions are large! Pizza is the best in Rio Rancho! A must stop for the hungry and thirsty soul.

Turtle Mountain and Flying Squirrel need improvement. We have had to wait a long time to get our beverage.Wanted root beer to go, they were out of bottles but had the special bottles for $4 more. Asked why should I have to pay more money for a bottle I didn't want? She said "we just don't give them away!"Flying Squirel(same owners) we ordered burgers and beverages(drinks took forever to get). While our burgers were being cooked they cooks were taking down the vents and cleaning above where our food was being cooked. Called the manager when we got home, Liz said it is not against health regulations! Unreal! I will not frequent these establishments ever again. There are better places to go that will get my business. Wake up owners and see what is going on or you will be out of business. Food is OK. Have had pizzas and burgers.

"Don't Bother" is the attitude you'll receive from staff and management a like. Here's how the "Don't Bother" attitude works at Turtle Mountain.



1. Don't bother the sever Cassie K with your order, she is too busy talking to her friends/other staff to care to come to your table.

2. Don't bother talking to the server, she won't tell you her name, nor will she listen to you when you say that you want drinks and that you'll order food after the appetizer.

3. Don't bother asking about the menu, the server will reply with restaurants terms like "upcharge" for asking for a salad instead of vegetables and then she'll act really annoyed when you ask how much the actual "upcharge" is.

4. Don't bother expecting your beer to be served cold and don't expect to be asked for your ID while your hands are not full of hot wing sauce.

5. Don't bother asking the busboy the name of the server and the manager. While the busboy will tell you these things and he did not actually do any thing egregious, you will get to see that great "Don't Bother" attitude from the server when she asks the busboy what you asked him about and when he tells her, she'll laugh. (which leads to...you guessed it)

6. Don't bother talking to the manager Liz, she'll see nothing wrong with the things her server did. Instead she'll actually defend her, not offer anything to try to make the experience better, but will entertain you with really stupid explanations and justifications about why things are done the way they are at Turtle Mountain.

7. And last but not least, "Don't Bother" going...I won't go back either.



I guess they didn't think that we would bother to write reviews online that could be viewed by many more people who may want to try their establishment.



Save your money, they do not care about your business and make no efforts at all to make you feel welcome and wanted at anytime past the front door, because the hostess was actually friendly.

Horrible service, rude waitress Cassy is of no help and has no business being a server. Don't waste your time and money at this place. It has the potential to be a great restaurant, if the staff and management were changed out for a real restaurant staff who cares about the customer. We got up and left after ordering wings, we complained to the manager and that was no help at all, we can see why the waitress has the attitude she does. Over priced food and poor service equals never going back.
