My wife and I made the mistake...

My wife and I made the mistake of staying at the Chipman Inn during the week of August 18th. During the morning, I went for a run, and I noticed a local radio station doing a broadcast from across the street.. I stopped to say hello to the young man, who had a cute puppy dog, and was telling me about how wonderful the area was.



A few minutes later, as I came back I noticed the owner (Bill) screaming at the young man from the middle of the road. The poor kid was on the radio and the man kept trying to yell at him.



I felt so bad for this young man, that I went over an apologized to him. Theyoung man said the owner told him his music was too loud, (which it wasn't). The poor kid was trying to talk, and the owner just kept yelling like a maniac. What an embarrassing display of behavior.



In all of my years coming to this area, I have never seen such a juvenile, immature and unacceptable response to music that "may" have been a little loud.



We had a nice time at the Inn, until this took place. I can only imagine how that poor kid felt. One thing is for sure - What an unbelievably bad respresentation he made about Ripton. We, for sure, will NEVER come here again.
