My first time in this Establishment and the food was excellent. Haven't had French fries this good in a long time.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. There french fries are out of this world.

Excellent hot dogs! I love this place, I always get two hot dogs with everything! They have the best dogs in chicago!

Don't be intimidated by the line of people inside, because it moves very quickly. A few minutes wait is worth the end result...The Best Hot Dog in all Chicago-land!!!

Best hot dogs on Chicagoland! That's all they serve. Each dog comes wrapped with fries. Bring your own ketchup though, it's not available. Wouldn't want to ruin a great thing:)

a chicago institution: dogs, fries, tamales - always a line, always fast, always cheap

This minimalist hot dog stand has been an institution for over 50 years. They sell hot dogs and tamales, period. The hot dogs come topped with mustard, onions, green relish, hot sport peppers and hand cut french fries, wrapped right up with the dog. They can move a long line very quickly because of the lack of selection. The dog is great, though. Unlike most Chicago dogs, it's got a snap to it. Don't wimp out and skip the peppers -- they're an integral part of the rubber dog experience.
