I just got 2 new puppies and decided to try a new vet closer to home. Dr. Gaertner is about the closest so I scheduled my new puppy check up with her. Her bedside manner left a lot to be desired. She was not "warm and fuzzy" at all, and I didn't get what I requested: Bordatella for both puppies, microchip and worming for one. Instead, she talked me intoi waiting on the microchip until the dog is spade (4 months from then). She didn't worm her either. Instead I was instructed to bring back a stool sample for analysis. It is common practice to worm a puppy, profolactically. I ended up purchasing a wormer and doing it myself. I'm back at my old vet, who is good, just further away.



Dr. Alice needs to try a little harder if she wants to attract new business. I was unimpressed.
